Local Preferences

CopyBuddy stores user preferences locally in the browser using Chrome extension storage. These preferences may include display mode, download format, language, and whether to ask where to save downloads. These settings are not transmitted to the developer or any external server.

Image Processing

CopyBuddy processes images locally in the browser when the user clicks a copy or download action. Image format conversion uses browser APIs such as canvas and offscreen documents. CopyBuddy does not upload images to external servers for processing.

Permissions

CopyBuddy requests webpage access so it can detect images on pages where the user wants to use the extension. It requests download and clipboard permissions only to perform user-triggered copy and download actions.

Third Parties

CopyBuddy does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party data processors.

Changes

This policy may be updated if CopyBuddy's features or data practices change. Any material change should be reflected in the Chrome Web Store listing.
